With nearly seven decades of Gulf Coast construction expertise behind us, Freepoint Construction represents the evolution of a legacy that began in 1954 as an industrial general contractor serving the energy and petrochemical sectors. Since the 1980s, we have specialized in equipment-intensive construction and services, building our reputation through crane rentals, refinery construction, and complex plant turnarounds. In 2021, we channeled this deep industry knowledge and operational excellence into founding Freepoint Construction, introducing advanced liquid chemical soil stabilization services to the Houston area. Soil Stabilization Process
Freepoint’s soil stabilzation process is designed to save time and money by eliminating massive import/export digs, road or parking material replacement, and unnecessary delays in traffic and site utilization.
Under normal conditions, Freepoint can stabilize just about any type of soil (not containing organic material) and have a surface ready to accept traffic the same day. No more tearing up roads or parking lots for weeks on end without use. We can even stabilize an existing gravel or asphalt road without having to remove the surface material.

Freepoint’s stabilization can be found across a variety of different applications in commercial and industrial settings
Most typically, our stabilization process is used on roads, parking areas, and large foundations where the existing soil or surface material must be removed and replaced due to suitability for construction. Our process works on virtually all soil types, including existing asphalt and gravel bases. Existing asphalt roads can be ground back into the base material creating a solid foundation for the new top coat that will last signficantly longer than traditional methods.
